📖 Favorite Friday: My Top 5 Romance Reads:
(So Far This Year)
💘 1. Betting on You by Lynn Painter
Why I loved it:
I loved how this book felt like a full-on rom-com, it was funny, heartfelt, and impossible to put down. Bailey and Charlie’s relationship completely won me over, especially the way he truly saw her & her little nickname for her "Glasses" . With so many twists and turns, I devoured it in just a few hours!

“When you’re in the room, every single cell in my body – every nerve, every muscle, every breath – is lost in you.”
💘 2. Throttled by Lauren Asher (One of My Favorite Authors! Also #1 in Series)
Why I loved it:
This was my first Formula 1 romance, and I know there probably aren’t many out there! Noah is kind of a mess, but he’s got such a good heart. He’s also Maya’s brother’s teammate (and not exactly his biggest fan), which makes things very complicated. Everyone warns her to stay far away, but of course, she can’t. Watching their relationship slowly blossom despite everything was beautiful and addictive.
Favorite Quote:
“Most of all, I like how she makes me want to be a better person. For her, for me, for the whole goddamn world.”
💘 3. Wild Side by Elsie Silver (Rose Hill Series Book #3)
Why I loved it:
Where do I even begin? First of all — he’s a wrestler. Say no more (WWE fan over here 🙋♀️). This one has a fake marriage trope, and the sexual tension is off the charts. Rhys starts off as a total jerk, but by the end? You’re head over heels. Watching his walls come down was everything.
Favorite Quote:
“She’s got the energy of a storm. Ominous, electric, unpredictable.”
💘 4. Bridesmaid by Chance by Meghan Quinn (Bridesmaid for Hire #3)
Why I loved it:
I absolutely adore Sloane and Hudson’s relationship — hands down one of my all-time favorites. Not only is she his brother-in-law’s sister, but she’s also his assistant… yep, you read that right. And let me tell you, she’s got a mouth on her! When they end up in a fake marriage for convenience, I was giddy with excitement — the chemistry, the banter, the tension... it had me hooked!
Favorite Quote:
“Didn't I fire you yesterday?” “I believe that you did.” … “Okay, so… care to tell me why you're here, in my office, handing me a green drink with no sugar?”
💘 5. Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn
I loved this one — it’s one of my standout reads this year. Scottie is 100% my spirit animal — bold, fiery, and completely unapologetic. Fresh off a divorce, she accidentally puts her foot in her mouth at work and ends up in a fake marriage with her best friend’s brother… who just so happens to be her total opposite and drives her absolutely crazy. Honestly, Wilder might be my favorite male main character in a long time!
Favorite Quote:
“You deserve to be worshipped, so I’m going to prove that I can be the man who can do that.”
