Hearts on Ice: Vancouver Storm Series Books 1–3

๐Ÿ’ Series Overview

Stephanie Archer’s Vancouver Storm series is a sweet, yet spicy, sports romance saga that follows a group of hockey players and the women who steal their hearts.

Each book is a standalone romance but works best as part of the series

If you're into hockey boys with big hearts, this series is a win. ๐Ÿฅ…๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“˜ Book 1: Behind the Net

Rating: 4.5/5

This book the first in the series, and where it all begins. With a fake relationship that turns very real, the chemistry between the main characters is overwhelming, but what made this story stand out was the emotional layers. This one was the perfect introduction to the world of Vancouver Storm.

Favorite Quote: “You’re beautiful,” he says quietly. I smile up at him. “You make me feel beautiful.”

๐Ÿ“— Book 2: The Fake Out

Rating: 5/5 (My FAVORITE in the series so far)

Slow burn tension & fake dating , what could be more perfect? This one brought the thick tension and the female sass. The banter was over the top and oh was I here for it, and it had me begging for more. Not to mention the emotional growth this book had, while it had a slightly different tone than Book 1, it still left me wanting more which each chapter.

Favorite Quote: “I’m in love with her. Hazel’s eyes are bright as she takes in the living room again… I’m in love with her, and I’d do anything to make her happy.”

๐Ÿ“™ Book 3: The Wingman

Rating: 4.5/5

(P.S. Hayden is my favorite MMC in the series for sure!)

This book had everything you could need. Charm, humor, and full of heart, the friends-to-lovers story felt real and deeply satisfying. The lead couple had such natural love for eachother that I didn’t want it to end. Plus, she's having her best-friend teach her to be a "player", what more could you really want from a book?!

Favorite Quote: “Don’t settle for anything less than a guy who worships the ground you walk on.”

๐ŸงŠ Final Thoughts

The Vancouver Storm series was a slapshot to my heart, with its mix of romance, humor, and emotional. Every book brings something a little different, but they all deliver on the feels.

Whether you’re trope is fake dating, or friends to lovers, you’ll find a favorite hockey player to root for.

๐Ÿ“– Next up: Book 4 — Gloves Off — review coming soon!

This book blends classic romance tropes—fake marriage, grumpy-meets-sunshine and so banter it hurts! I can't wait to dive face first into this book.

Let me know which one you liked the most and why! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the series.

P.S. I tried to do this review a little differently than usual—so let me know if you liked the format! ๐Ÿ’™
