I loved how Asher wove vulnerability into both characters. Lorenzo’s struggle between ambition and genuine affection for Lily felt raw and human, while Lily’s fierce loyalty to her family and shop gave her a grounded strength. Their chemistry? Electric, but layered with history and hurt, making their journey toward love all the more satisfying.
