You, Me & One More Cup -- A Dedication to My Dad

To my dad —

For every coffee shared, every story I told while you worked,
every Scooby-Doo rerun, shark movie, and song we sang in the car.

For the laughs, the music, the advice, the warmth.
For never letting me feel alone — even now.

You are the reason I believe in myself.
And every word I write carries your light.

Love always,
your daughter.

This blog is steeped in memories of you — car rides filled with laughter, music turned all the way up, and the stories I used to dream up while you worked so hard at the car service. You never told me to be quiet or stop imagining — you handed me a coffee and made space for my voice.

We had our own little world: scary movie marathons, inside jokes, and deep talks about anything I needed help with — from money, to health, to just figuring life out. You were always there, and you always made me feel safe.

Now, when I sit down to write — with a mug in hand and something soulful playing — I still feel you. In every Santana solo, every Boys II Men lyric, every quiet moment that follows a laugh.

You were my biggest supporter. And this blog? It’s a love letter to everything you helped me believe I could do.

The coffee may cool, the show may end,
but the memories? They stay warm forever.
In Loving Memory
