Coffee-Date Friday ☕πŸ’—

 Coffee-Date Friday ☕πŸ’—

“Caramel coffee + cozy chaos = the perfect vibe.”

Hi besties! This is my very first Coffee-Date Friday, where we chat about life, books, school, and everything in between — all over a warm drink. Today’s choice? A hot caramel coffee with extra caramel because I needed sweetness in my soul.

Let’s catch up!

What I Did Last Weekend

Last weekend was SUCH a highlight.

  • I finally got to see A Day to Remember — my absolute FAVORITE band — along with Yellowcard at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport.

  • We Ubered around, navigated the arena, had fun with the crowds, and soaked in all the emo nostalgia.

  • No Dunkin this time (shockingly), but still a whole vibe.

  • Honestly? It was the perfect mix of loud music, fall air, and feeling like a teenager again.

And then life snapped right back — I was back in school on Tuesday morning, barely recovered from screaming the lyrics. πŸ˜‚

πŸ“š What I Read This Week

Reading update time!
I finished Bad Bishop by L.J. Shen (the DRAMA omg), and immediately jumped into something completely different but sooo good:

πŸ“˜ Mile High (Special Edition) by Liz Tomforde
I know I’m late to the party, but oh well — I’m here now and obsessed.

  • Current progress: page 255/531

  • Vibes: hockey romance, tension, slow burn, perfection

  • I get the hype. Fully.

πŸŽ’ What I’ve Been Doing This Week

This week was BUSY but productive:

  • Started my NYC COVID + migrant influx group project

  • Got my math quiz back — didn’t do great, but I’m still pushing because the grind never stops

  • Aced my Environmental Science Lab Exam πŸŽ‰

  • Kept up with my normal weekly blog posts

A very academic, very coffee-fueled, very me week.

πŸ› What I’m Buying

This week’s mini shopping list included:

  • Coffee (always)

  • More Immune Pop packets because they’re my new obsession

  • Holiday inspiration things because the Christmas mood is HERE

  • And probably another book soon because… self-care

☕ Weekend Plans

This weekend is looking like:

  • Homework

  • Reading more of Mile High

  • A cozy coffee moment (or several)

  • Finishing up blog drafts

  • Maybe starting a new graphic or two

  • Just… staying warm, staying soft, staying caffeinated
