🏑 Small-Town Saturday: Maggie Moves On

🏑 Small-Town Saturday: Maggie Moves On

Today’s read is giving tiny town charm, slow-burn tension, and a heroine who is way too organized to deal with the chaos that is Silas Wright — and I’m living for every second.

I started Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score today, and it already has everything I love in a small-town romance:
✨ a fixer-upper Victorian home
✨ a super determined, independent heroine
✨ a laid-back, flirty hero who does NOT know how to mind his business
✨ one chaotic dog
✨ a town full of nosy-but-lovable characters

Magggie pulls into Kinship, Idaho ready to tackle her newest renovation project — blueprints in hand, camera ready, coffee mandatory. She’s all structure and hustle… the type of woman who literally sleeps on a cot just to stay on schedule.

And then Silas shows up.
Shirtless. Smirking. Landscaping like it’s a thirst trap.
Immediately deciding Maggie is his new favorite person to annoy.

Their banter is already top-tier, the chemistry is simmering, and the small-town energy is exactly what I needed today. It’s cozy, warm, and a little bit chaotic — the perfect Saturday vibe.

Coffee Pairing:

I’m sipping an Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, which honestly fits this book way too well — warm, cozy, a little sweet, and absolutely golden retriever–coded. It’s basically Silas in coffee form.

Can’t wait to see how much trouble these two get into as the house (and their emotional walls) start to come down. πŸ› ️πŸ’›
